Patterned Grandeur: Studio Astolfi’s Sculptural Wall at Galleria

Studio Astolfi’s monumental wood-and-brass panel spans a seventy-square-meter wall, welcoming visitors to Norte Shopping’s luxurious Galleria—a curated collection of boutiques, lounges, and kiosks.

Refined materials reflect the Galleria’s sophisticated interior design aesthetic. The installation plays with varying depths, shapes, and the interplay of positive and negative space, adding a clever and whimsical touch to the visitor experience.

Approximately one thousand 25 cm² “puzzle” pieces make up the wall. Each element is hand-assembled, forming a layered composition of superimposed wood cut in both orthogonal and organic shapes—some interwoven with brass-like metal panels.

This striking piece invites passers-by to pause, look closer, and engage in a moment of aesthetic play—where geometry, rhythm, and pattern unfold across a grand and dynamic surface.
