Coworking  Space

A Playful & Dynamic Workspace

The space was designed to evoke a sense of home while embracing the diversity of coworking in a flexible and dynamic way. At the heart of our concept are playful forms that infuse the environment with energy and creativity. Our transformation and renovation of the space involve five main steps:

Colour Palette: We established a playful colour palette that unifies the brand and interior spaces, creating a visually harmonious environment. This use of colour supports the brand identity and enhances the user experience.

Second Skin: We selected new materials to cover floors, walls, and ceilings, providing a continuous and durable 'second skin'. This layer adds texture and character, enhancing the overall sensory experience and ensuring longevity.

Space in Space: Our design incorporates multifunctional areas that allow for the coexistence of different activities within the same space. These adaptable zones cater to various work styles and needs, promoting flexibility and dynamism.

Space Dividers: To create distinct areas within the open layout, we utilized custom-made space dividers. These elements not only delineate spaces but also add personality and functionality, contributing to an organized and efficient work environment.

Furniture: We selected essential furniture pieces that support a productive work environment. Each item was chosen for its comfort, functionality, and ability to integrate harmoniously with the overall design, ensuring versatile use of common areas.

Our layout proposal focuses on creating an open common space on the entry floor that fosters communication and collaboration, connecting multiple uses: lounge, coworking, cafeteria, and auditorium. By incorporating bookshelves, curtains, and strategic seating arrangements, we simultaneously create diverse and more private areas. We chose warm materials, such as wood, neutral flooring, and ceiling paint, along with fabrics, to promote a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere in the workspaces and to inspire the creativity and productivity of the Lacs community.

In this environment, plants represent another important layer to complete the space's design. By introducing 'green' elements of various sizes, all areas are enhanced: plants serve as decoration and reinforce the sense of a welcoming environment, help define specific areas, and divide spaces, creating a sense of separation without compromising the openness and fluidity of the layout. Undoubtedly, in this final phase, the introduction of 'nature' ultimately improved the quality and well-being within the space.
