A Mid-Century Inspired Retail Experience

The design narrative of the Labrador Flagship Store draws inspiration from the 1950s American Case Study Houses, introducing a residential ambiance into the retail environment. This approach brings forth a sense of home, coziness, visual warmth, tailored lighting, elegance, a classic twist, and a masculine touch.

The store layout offers a journey of discovery, featuring distinct "space within space" moments that define various zones: the entrance foyer, the "Casa do Alfaiate" (Tailor's House), a lounge/living room with a fireplace and bar, an open-concept tailoring area where customers can observe the craftsmanship, and fitting rooms. Encasing these areas is a fluid perimeter where all Labrador products are displayed within an integrated exhibition system based on built-in furniture concepts.

To honor the brand's heritage, the facade of the former Labrador store has been incorporated into the "Casa do Alfaiate," enhancing the "space within space" experience.

The palette of textures and materials includes wooden slats running throughout the store, black iron profiles with geometric lines integrated into the walls, black stone, carpeting, velvet, and a dark blue color scheme that adds masculinity to the space. Vintage lighting fixtures and furniture contribute to creating a welcoming habitat. Various vintage décor items related to tailoring and men's lifestyle play a fundamental role in conveying the brand's story.
