On the phone, the clock reads 4:57 PM…The sun touches your arm and slowly rises to your face while you write those endless emails on a warm Summer afternoon…In an instant, you close your eyes — and memory carries you away.You recall the feeling of warm sand slipping between your toes, the long swims in the Atlantic, the books started beneath the shade of a beach umbrella, the endless conversations between friends and strangers, the photographs too many to count, the games played on beach towels — won with and without cheating —, the snacks, fruit, and ice creams eaten until fingers grow sticky, the beautiful seashells tucked away in a beach bag until next Summer, the laughter shared between endless toasts, the sunset bringing music, dancing, and kisses…That someone who wraps you in a towel by the sea while you watch the sunset together, staying only to listen to the ocean, skin against skin. Only 15 seconds have passed — and we are already Out of Office. In collaboration with Marshmellow, Studio Astolfi designs a beach collection that reflects the courage to tell stories in any environment and in any form. The beach towels become “Astolfian” objects: they are worn, shared, carried, and borrowed. They are witnesses to lived moments and memories constantly being built. The icons featured on the Out of Office towels trigger collective memories, recalling the stories we have all been collecting throughout Summers since childhood — stories that continue to evolve over time. Blue and crimson come together in a vibrant, pulsating chromatic composition — like life itself — while the waves crash along the Portuguese Coast.
In the end, we are all stories.
