JNCQUOI

We were invited to transform the deli bar at JNcQUOI—a space where people gather to eat around a large central counter and shop for gourmet products—into a playful and artistic environment that celebrates the beauty of food and design.

Our goal was to create a series of immersive moments that highlight the unique products available for purchase, from fine charcuterie to truffle oil. Each installation invites curiosity, playfulness, and a sense of wonder.

Cheese is celebrated through sculptural pieces made from different types of stone—solid, elegant, and unexpected. For the charcuterie section, we created suspended elements entirely crocheted by hand, floating above and cohabiting with real prosciutto, blurring the line between reality and fantasy.

A small art installation features a ceramic pig perched above the truffle oil display, nose in the air, playfully sniffing for truffles. Throughout the space, handmade ceramic women interact with the products—performing acrobatics, balancing acts, and moments of surprise, all designed to spark joy and delight.

There’s also an oversized can of foie gras, with a ceramic girl hanging out from its edge—an ode to playfulness and scale. Nearby, a ceramic olive tree with real olive leaves stands tall, paying tribute to the richness of olive oil. And finally, a ceramic sailboat, dressed in Fashion Clinic fabrics and overflowing with seafood, brings a touch of whimsy to the space.

This artistic intervention turns the deli bar into a multisensory experience—where food and design meet in unexpected ways.
