Labrador

This project, designed by Studio Astolfi for the Labrador store inside El Corte Inglés in Lisbon, celebrates the brand’s essence through a bold, tailor-made installation. Drawing inspiration from Labrador’s signature piece — the classic shirt — the studio crafted a striking oversized version, not from fabric, but from reclaimed wood.

The XL shirt installation was meticulously built using a collage of old woods with rich histories: Lisbon’s traditional door panels, vintage bedside tables, and antique shoeboxes, among others. Each fragment tells a story, infusing the space with a strong sense of local heritage and craftsmanship. This sculptural piece was seamlessly integrated into the fitting room, reinforcing the brand’s bespoke spirit.

True to Astolfi’s playful and poetic style, the project brings together storytelling, material nostalgia, and a touch of irony — all while honoring Lisbon’s timeless charm and Labrador’s sartorial identity.
