A Vibrant Ode to Portuguese Youth

Studio Astolfi was invited to bring to life a scenographic universe for Sumol’s campaign “That Summer Feeling”, a vibrant celebration of youth, spontaneity, and the chaotic beauty of summer.

Inspired by Sumol’s energetic identity, we designed and built a fully immersive set, functioning as both a campaign backdrop and a playground of expression. It’s a hyper-saturated, textured, tactile world, filled with bold color clashes, unexpected objects, and layers of nostalgic and futuristic elements.

The space we created doesn’t tell a linear story. Instead, it offers moments of surprise, spontaneity, and joy—a place where every corner can be interpreted differently, just like summer memories. It’s about freedom, youth, and a kind of controlled chaos that perfectly mirrors Sumol’s vibrant brand ethos.

Everything in the set—from oversized fruit props to playful interventions in scale and texture—was custom-built to support photography, film, and live interaction. This was not a set to be observed passively, but to be lived in, danced through, and experienced in full color.

With this project, Studio Astolfi once again transformed space into narrative, crafting a tangible version of that unmistakable summer feeling we all chase.
